The COVID-19 Vaccine: Facts vs Fiction

Join SIM-NE to discuss the facts versus fiction related to the COVID-19 vaccine.

The target audience for this event is rural EMS providers and rural healthcare providers. This event will be held via Facebook Live and will include a panel discussion and Q&A session with the following subject matter experts:

At the completion of this event the participant should be able to:

- Identify three benefits for healthcare providers that receive the COVID-19 vaccine

- Identify three potential side effects of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine

- Understand the benefit of the vaccine to people who have already had COVID-19

- Understand that a mRNA vaccine does not impact a person’s DNA


Registration for the event is not required to view the event. However, if you wish to receive an EMS continuing education certificate or non-peer reviewed nursing continuing professional development certificate you must register for the live event ahead of time online at http://bit.ly/COVIDvaccine1.

This registration link will be turned off once the live event begins, so it’s important to register ahead of time. You will also receive pre and post event surveys via email. BOTH will need to be completed to receive your continuing education certificate.
